Comments | Reintroduced in 1910. Established in many southern rivers particularly in Great Ouse and continues to spread either naturally or by introductions. Highly appreciated by anglers but not by conservationists. Evidence of decline in native Esox lucius and Perca fluviatilis (Ref. 6391). (Gordon Copp, pers. comm., Oct. 18, 2006).
